About Us
We wrote our metaphorical program with the homeschool family and homeschool co-op in mind; however, the Christian school, classical school, and university model school will enjoy the flexibility within our curriculum, the classical approach to learning, and the simple formulaic instruction for the teacher and the student.

Rusty Gorby
Author and Creator
Writer and home-schooling mom, Rusty Gorby has a Bachelor of Arts in English. She has taught secondary English in Texas and Virginia since 1988 in public schools, in home school co-ops, in her home, and in a Classical Christian school. Mrs. Gorby loves teaching! Throughout her tenure, she has written writing, grammar, history, and Bible curriculum for BiblioPlan for Families, for home school co-ops, and for public and private schools. By God’s grace, she hopes to instill confidence and a love of learning in her students as she encourages growth in their writing.

Rebecca Atkins
Illustrator
Rebecca Atkins has a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Animation. She spent several years teaching animation at Huntington University and assistant producing the short film Fire Flower. She has also done curriculum illustration for Science for Mermaids and Leading Ladies. As a 12-year-old homeschooler, Rebecca found herself in Mrs. Gorby's writing class, where her creative spirit was constantly encouraged. Years later when Mrs. Gorby approached her with her dream of a Grammar Castle, Rebecca quickly agreed to join the adventure.

Mindy Piehler
Editor
Mindy Piehler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in English from Baylor University. She began her career in public education and for three decades has taught grammar and literature in home school co-ops. Honored to be the editor, she believes this invaluable grammar curriculum will ignite each student’s potential for writing success.
